Second Trimester

Well, I know I am starting this blog a bit late in the game. Unlike my best man, Ben, I hadn't thought to sign in to blogger when I saw two lines. (Sidenote, I wasn't even there for the "two lines" sighting. But that's another post)

But anyways, we are through the first trimester. In fact, on Monday we went in to meet our new doctor an heard the heartbeat for the first time. Kind of surreal. The doctor was so matter of fact about it that I don't think Anne and I really had a chance to really take in what we were hearing. There was noise coming from within my wife's stomach. Now I must clarify, there is always noise coming from my wife's stomach. If there are ever only one mood my wife is in its hungry. And its not that she eats a lot, not at all, its just that she can eat almost anytime. I, on the other hand, am a one meal a day kind of guy. Like a camel.

Sorry, noticed I was rambling.

So we are through the first trimester and it wasn't as bad as I guess we had heard. There were several times where she was ill but overall it no major hiccups. Just normal pregnancy stuff I guess. So one third of the way there. I imagine this next trimester will fly with all the holidays and exciting stuff going on with our new house. April will be here before we know it.

Oh yes, forgot to mention this, we are due in April. Another Aries like 'his/her' dad!
